Geek Parables #44 - Star Wars: Finn

     The Stormtrooper FN-2187, was taken from his family when he was a baby to be trained as a soldier of the First Order which seeks to replace the Empire after the death of Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader and the destruction of the second Death Star by the forces of Rebel Alliance. 

    We find Finn (which gets his name from Poe Dameron) questioning his mission as a soldier of the First Order. Suddenly, everything he believed falls to the ground and he can not continue living the way we grew and learned. What happens from this personal decision to change his life, it turns into an adventure that takes Finn to unimaginable places and do Knowing people will change his way to think. He will find a new purpose and a new mission for his story. 

     Just like Finn, our lives go through decisive moments that can turn our journeys forever. Whether by some difficulty, for any loss or disappointment, we experience moments of reflection where we see that our lives are not on the road or having the results we would like. In these moments we can only reflect and think about what might have been if we did something different, or we can have a genuine experience with Christ and accept him as Lord and Savior of our lives. 

     No adventure or change of life can be compared to someone who genuinely knows and plunges into Christ for a special life. God manages this soul dissatisfied with the society in which you live and you decide to be reborn to a truly free life in the Presence of God!
